Job Description:
Project Engineer oversees planning and coordinating construction projects to make sure the project is completed within budget and schedule. Duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
Project Engineers manage the planning and processes of a project and delegate responsibilities to ensure the project is completed efficiently and successfully. Day-to-day duties and responsibilities include the following:
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and lead construction projects from inception to completion.
•Collaborate with owners/clients, architects/engineers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to assess project requirements.
•Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
•Procure necessary equipment, materials, and labor resources.
•Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
•Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
•Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports.
•Communicate effectively with owners/clients and address any concerns or inquiries.
•Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and budget goals.
•Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
•Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
