Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our Crew. As a Commercial Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and lead all phases of commercial construction projects, from planning and coordinating to execution and completion.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
4. Monitor construction progress, inspecting work quality, and ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
5. Manage subcontractors, including selection, negotiation, and coordination of their work.
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders at CTC, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
7. Working with Project Manager on contracts and change orders.
8. Proactively identify and resolve construction-related problems, making recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures.
9. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering commercial construction projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
