Job Description:
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking CNC Machinists for long-term roles with a machine shop located in SE Portland. The person in this position will set-up and operate Fanuc Controlled CNC Machines including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. There are openings available on day and swing shift.
PAY: $25-$35/hr + $2/hr differential for swing shift
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
Machine a variety of short-run parts.
Set-up and operate CNC Mills (3-4 axis).
Set-up and operate CNC Lathes.
Operate manual mills and manual lathes.
Complete first article inspections.
Machine mild steel, stainless steel, and tooling steel.
Read blueprints.
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
Must be able to set-up and operate CNC Mills.
Ability to do first article inspection and produce parts from blueprints.
CNC Lathe and manual machining experience is a plus.
Ability to work with limited need for direction.
Ability to work either day shift (MON-FRI, 7AM-3:30PM) or swing shift (MON-THURS, 1:30PM-12AM).
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC friendly).
