Solarity Credit Union is seeking a Full Time 40 hours per week Accounting Specialist!
The Accounting Specialist will support a wide range of accounting functions to ensure the team goals and deadlines are met. The ideal candidate has accounts payable experience, is detail-minded, well organized, and wants to be part of a collaborative accounting team. A Day in the life of an Accounting Specialist...
The daily work life of the Accounting Specialist will include the following:
Process payments to vendors and third parties.
Prepare monthly reports and account reconciliations.
Respond to departmental tickets promptly, route to the right person to handle, and follow up with the person who sent the ticket.
Cross train on other accounting tasks and other department's needs.
Create extraordinary experiences for external and internal members that you are in contact with.
Conduct practices that ensure clean audits in accounts payable.

Associates Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
2 to 4 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience highly recommended.
Accounts payable experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
