Job Description:
Position Summary: The truck driver is responsible for driving semi-trucks and operating a forklift to transport hops as needed throughout the facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
85%- Transportation:
Drive semi-truck to transport hops.
Operate a forklift to transport hops throughout the facility
Organize and maintain all compliance documentation and paperwork.
Facilitate a 5S program for all trucks, audit and maintain documentation (such as drive logs).
Ensure trucks are maintained and serviced regularly.

10%- Hop Management:
Collect hop samples and inspect hops
Assist with facility clean up

5%-Such other duties as may be assigned in accordance with Company needs and requirements.

Conditions of Employment:
1. Work a 40-hour work week.
2. During harvest must be able to work ten hour days, seven days a week.
3. Physically able to operate a large truck and lift 100 pounds.
4. Able to truck to Oregon, Idaho and other localities as needed.
5. Must comply with all John I. Haas, Inc. policies and procedures, including successful passing of pre-employment background check and drug test.
6. Must comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and be trained on procedures applicable to the requirements of the position, including managing significant quality, environmental, and food safety aspects.

Qualifications:
Required:
Valid CDL license.
Previous experience driving semi-trucks.
Previous experience working in the hop industry.

Preferred:
1. Previous warehouse experience.

Pay: $37,600 to $56,400 per year with a target starting salary of $37,600 to $47,000. Please keep in mind this range represents the range for all positions in the pay grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including experience and if applicable, location.
