SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join our Information Systems team.
Posting Dates: 5/17/2023 – 5/31/2023
Wage Range: $30.56 - $48.72

This is not a remote position. Position is located in Longview, Washington.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the organization's computer systems and servers, and for ensuring the efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and computer systems.
Monitoring system performance and ensuring the availability of resources.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing technical support.
Performing backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect company data.
Managing user accounts and permissions and maintaining user documentation.
Collaborating with other IT staff and departments to ensure system interoperability and reliability.
Staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
Apply computer system and server’s patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
Serve as backup to Information Systems Support Specialist I and Information Systems Support Specialist II.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist employees with problems.
Other duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS
Microsoft Azure & Office 365.
Windows Server administration, installation, and configuration, Active Directory, MS-SQL, and Exchange.
VMware usage and configuration and virtualization concepts.
SAN storage concepts.
Networking concepts.
Backup, Business Continuity and Disaster Recover concepts.
Problem solving.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education - 2-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Position Knowledge - The individual is required to have the skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
Problem Solving - The individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Interpersonal Skills - The individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Oral Communication - The individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. The individual maintains on-going communication with Department Manager concerning activities of the department as well as needs or problems and keeps them informed of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, and other important information.
Written Communication - The individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information.
Planning/Organizing - The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans.
Quality Control - The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Dependability - The individual is consistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law which are outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds to Management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Observes Policies/Procedures - The individual sets an example in observing (following) Credit Union policy and applicable Standard Operating Procedures, as well as those in the Employee Guide.
Experience - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to think logically, solve problems, work independently, be capable of following detailed technical instructions, and be willing and able to continuously learn.
