Job Description:
The Bureau of Reclamation is a contemporary water management agency best known for constructing dams, powerplants, and canals in the 17 western United States, having constructed more than 600 dams and reservoirs. We are the largest wholesaler of water and the second-largest producer of hydroelectric power in the United States.

DUTIES
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, modifies, calibrates, programs, commissions and/or aligns various types of complex electronic and related equipment down to the component level, including but not limited to:
-telephone and telephone systems (cellular, order wire, radio and land line); radio and data communications (VHF, UHF, Microwave), multiplexers, modems
-security and surveillance equipment, sound and video systems
-current and potential transformers; electronic controllers and regulators (voltage, etc.)
*Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) and associated input/output devices and circuits, encoders, WWV clocks, transducers (electrical, temperature, flow, pressure, etc.), computers (PC, LAN, PLC), terminals, printers data logging equipment, chart recorders, lake and river elevation equipment, annunciators, synchronizers, oscillographs
*UPS and battery charging systems, power supplies, power plant metering (analog and digital), revenue metering and protective relaying for generators, line, and transformers, transfer trip equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
