Another Source’s client, Auburn Mechanical, is recruiting a Service Project Manager to join their team. Candidates can be based anywhere from Olympia to Everett as this is a hybrid role that requires frequent travel to job sites in that territory.

Auburn Mechanical is a family-owned and women-led company, operating since 1975. In addition to an experienced management team, they lead the industry with the most knowledgeable and seasoned sheet metal workers, plumbers, designers, welders, and pipe fitter experts in the region.  

 

What’s in it for you:   

Auburn Mechanical offers a comprehensive compensation and benefit package. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000. 

 

The Role: 

The Service Project Manager’s primary objective is to manage project opportunities and contracts from start to finish. This objective will be accomplished through estimating and managing projects, frequent check-ins on-site, and acting as a liaison for internal teams. The Manager will support the efforts of the Service Team to achieve its annual revenue, margin & safety goals. They will manage project opportunities and assigned accounts through effective account development, sales, communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs/profitability. 

 

Your day will likely include: 

Business Development and relationship building through proactive and consultative sales approach and listening skills. 
Interview clients to develop an appropriate approach, estimate Service Projects, and develop and present proposals to existing and potential Service clients. 
Manage all projects and assigned accounts to achieve sales & margin goals. Meet with major clients on a regular basis to ensure client satisfaction. 
Participate in strategic account planning and perform analysis for increased sales opportunities. 
Participate in associations and groups that promote opportunities for client development and Auburn brand expansion. 
Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted as needed to support operations team in the execution of work sold. 
Coordinate manpower requirements with the Service Coordinator and/or Service Supervisor to schedule manpower needs. 
Ensure full compliance with Auburn Safety Programs. 
Collaborate and participate in developing, updating & improving sales tools, estimating sheets, sales deliverables, field forms, marketing collateral, etc. 
Support and develop a positive team environment that promotes our culture and delivers value to external and internal customers. 
Perform relief and or project duties and responsibilities as needed for others in the department. 

 

What we would like to see from you: 

A minimum of five years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Experience in project management and estimating. 
Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems 
Strong interpersonal skills 
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail 
Excellent organizational and time management skills 
Strong communication skills 
Results-driven attitude
