Position Overview
The successful candidate for the Sewer Utility M&O Specialist/Electrical position is skilled in the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of a wide variety of electrical systems and associated equipment used in wastewater treatment process and sewer pumping facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Three years of work experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in a wastewater treatment plant to include two years of experience in the electrical trades, or
Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.
This is a full-time position with a full salary range of $27.72 - $35.48 Hourly. This position is covered under the Teamsters Utilities 589 collective bargaining agreement. It offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance and WA State Pension (retirement),11 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays, 8 hours of annual vacation accrued per month, and 8 hours of sick leave accrued per month.
