Job Description:
We are hiring for Plant Maintenance Technicians or Instrumentation Techs for a few local companies in Moses Lake, Warden and Othello. This person would perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment/machines and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, production equipment, and other building systems!
Responsibilities Include:
Inspecting and identifying equipment or machines in need of repair
Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
Plan repair work using the building's blueprints, maintenance plans, or equipment manuals
Assist in long-term maintenance and repair forecasting and budgets
Completes necessary training
Perform general repairs as needed
Order and inventory supplies and materials
Preferred:
Ability to program PLC, VFD, and controllers
Calibrate temperature gauges, sensors, specialty machines
Location: Moses Lake
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 DOE
Required Skills and Abilities:
Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of construction, welding, mechanical, and electrical systems
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Qualifications/Experience:
2+ years in maintenance
Maintenance experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
Schedule:
Various shifts. Monday through Friday
