Job Description:
Several local companies in Moses Lake and Quincy, WA, are searching for a Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to deliver various products and other commodities as needed.
Description:
Your role will include transporting various products in Central, WA. As a driver for this company, you will also be required to perform inspections before and after a trip. Home every night, some routes include nightshift and weekend work.
Job Pay:
$22-$26/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
Transport finished goods, and raw materials to and from plants and distribution centers
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Skills:
Proven work experience as a truck driver
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations
Valid truck driving license
Requirements:
0 - 1 year of commercial driving experience
Clean driving record
Valid CDL - Class A in Washington State
Endorsements - Tanker, Double & Triple, Air Brake
Preferred:
3-year experience operating 53' trailers, refers, dry boxes, flatbeds
