As the construction supervisor, this position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating EPC battery storage projects. The incumbent is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of various sub-contractors, mainly with respect to sub-contractors in all trades of civil, structural and electrical works. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Manage and assess bid process to include choosing and/or rejecting proposals
•Responsible for contract development
•Manage construction activities at the site of installation
•Manage site crew to include contractors and subcontractors
•Responsible for evaluating contractor performance
•Acts as a liaison between sub-contractors ensuring appropriate time frames and schedules are created
•Determine the best way to get materials to the project site and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project
•Prepare and report daily construction progress to Project Manager
•Coordinate and lead weekly construction progress follow up meetings with various sub-contractors
•Supervise the civil, structural and electrical installation
•Manage change orders from the various sub-contractors
•Prepare the construction budget and C.O. follow ups
•Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime
•Ability and willingness to travel and relocate
•Ability and willingness to travel long distances by car and air
•Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner, enter and exit vehicle without assistance, remain alert while driving for continuous period of time and read and understand maps

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
•Review contractors and sub-contractor's billings
•Conducts material inventory

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
•The ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the areas of assignment as would be acquired in three to four years of high school. 4-year degree in a related field is a plus
•At least 5 years in the construction industry, 2 years in similar position
•Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties
•Must possess at any time a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to ORMAT auto insurance carrier
•Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software application in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and use of the Internet
•Ability and willingness to travel and relocate if required
•Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•The ability to lift 20 lbs. periodically
•The ability to navigate and work in remote field locations and work outdoors in difficult weather conditions.
•The ability to walk, hike, and work on steep, rough terrain for extended periods of time.
•The ability to safely operate 4WD light vehicles on highways and off-road.
•Must be able to frequently climb ladders, climb to and work off elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways
•Protective equipment and fire-retardant clothing must be worn in the performance of some duties
•Job requires sitting 20% of the time, standing 80%
