The Electronic Services Division (ESD) supports all goals, most directly sustaining and enhancing agency infrastructure and business processes, by improving collaboration outcomes between WSP business and technology divisions, using consistent planning processes, increasing business continuity capabilities, and providing quality communication services.

Duties
As an IT Network & Telecommunications - Journey you will be responsible for the design, configuration, provisioning, installation, and management of the physical network infrastructure and WAN connections inside WSP buildings. This includes network cabling, network wall jacks, network distribution rooms, and network hardware such as routers, wireless LAN controllers, wireless access points (APs), and data switches within each WSP facility. This position maintains most of the network equipment's operating software, the configurations and all associated documentation.

Our new teammate will be able to:
Design, Install, provision, and maintain the physical WSP network Infrastructure within WSP facilities.
Conduct server support of ESD servers used for network monitoring, management, VOIP, radio, and other ESD applications.
Design of overall network outside of the Data Center and interconnectivity of offices via WAN or other means.
Design, Install, provision, and maintain the WSP 802.11 wireless network infrastructure within WSP facilities.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Three years of IT Network & Telecoms - Entry experience or equivalent in an enterprise organization utilizing a Cisco network environment, preferably in data transport and security.
A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate may substitute year for year.
Demonstrated journey-level experience with the following technologies:
Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia routers and switches.
Network protocols such as Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).
IP addressing schemes (IPv4 and IPv6).
802.11 protocols and standards.
