Longview Auto and Tire is looking for Automotive Technicians to join our Team!

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.

This position pays: $25-$32 per flat rate hour, Depending on Skill & Experience

Responsibilities:
Communicates directly with Service Advisors so that customers can stay informed of any additional services and estimate of time needed for repairs
Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Conduct necessary automotive inspection, maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications
Test drive vehicles to verify soundness and quality

Requirements:
Must have some experience as an auto technician or vocational program completion
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Knowledgeable in the different aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
Dedicated to improving your craft
Contribute to a winning team
Willingness to help others
Must have a valid driver’s license
Maintain bay in an orderly, clean and safe manner
Ability to identify problems quickly
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Physical/mental/emotional/critical thinking/communication ability to meet the demands of the position; include, but are not limited to, talk, hear, see, smell, gross & fine motor, lift 75 lbs, focus and concentration necessary for the assessment and repair of vehicles
