Job Description:
This job is responsible for the general maintenance of lift trucks, diesel trucks, tractors, automobiles, and various orchard equipment/implements, make general repairs and emergency repairs that occur, keep track of tools/shop equipment, and keep in good working condition. Keep shop and tools organized, neat and clean. Use all safety measures when working on any type of equipment, whether in the shop or out in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Work at following and promoting company safety rules and policies.
•Be physically fit and be able to lift 60 lbs. over your head.
•Report danger areas and accidents immediately to safety director.
•Light welding, fabrication as needed.
•Performs preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
•Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
•Identifies and installs replacement parts for machines.
•Repairs broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
•Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines and equipment.
•Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
•When equipment is repaired and any problems that he sees that may have caused the breakdown, he reports the problem to direct supervisor.
•Keep accurate records for all maintenance performed on all equipment.
•Perform other assigned duties as required.
