Job Description:
Summary/Objective:
Provide quality service to our customers by supporting cable infrastructures through our service department and/or project department. Assist Limited energy Tech(s) with installing security/surveillance devices/systems as well as any other requested equipment.

Essential Functions:

•Maintain cable systems by installing, repairing, and upgrading cable infrastructure.
•Evaluate and repair of network cable infrastructure
•Network cabling Infrastructure pulling, routing, terminating, and splicing cables.
•Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
•Maintain a clean driving record as this position is required to drive a company vehicle to customer job sites.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
•Executing service calls in a timely and professional manner.
•Coordinate with dispatch and project departments.
•Call into dispatch or projects at the completion of each assignment.
•Submit/complete service solutions immediately after the service request has been completed. Submit/complete project solutions by 8:00 AM the following day.
•Participate in all phases of job development including specification, recommendations, walkthroughs and customer training.
•Maintain established processes, procedures and quality control.
•Continually improve technology, leadership skills and further technical education.
•Assume responsibility for job assignments.
•Maintain professional relationships with business clients and fellow workers to meet our expected customer service commitment.
•Assist in maintaining stock levels on basic parts.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On-call rotation from Monday at 8:00 a.m. to the following Monday at 8:00 a.m.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Experience/Skills:
•Experience working with hand tools, power tools, ladders and test equipment.
•Experience with crimping and terminating Evaluate and repair of network cable infrastructure cabling.
•Ability to use Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Must be able to integrate effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment.
•Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Position Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•1+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing cable for network communications.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Strong knowledge of industry standard cable specifications.
