The College of Education has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Computer Support Analyst 2.

Reporting to the Associate Director for Center Technology, the Computer Support Analyst 2 will provide support to College of Education faculty and staff and administer department IT systems. This position is part of a shared IT environment in the College with a primary focus on its Centers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with a diverse set of staff and faculty to ensure data integrity and security and that mechanisms are put in place to safely store their grant and research projects.
Configure, monitor, manage and maintain Cultivate Learning virtual and physical servers.
Support cloud and server-based applications, cloud storage solutions, desktops, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
Design and develop SharePoint sites that meet the needs of the center.g
Design, build, and maintain SQL database applications, to accommodate research and business need changes, maintain security and integrity controls while formulating policies and procedures related to database management.
Serve as a liaison and project manager for technology-rated projects with center staff and outside vendors/contractors.
Support Center clients by selecting and configuring software/hardware and making recommendations on best solutions to meet client’s needs.
Provide technical support to staff and faculty in diverse computing environments that includes, but is not limited to, platforms running Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, iPadOS, and iOS.
Research, evaluate, test hardware and software products, and systems solutions; install, configure, and test hardware and software, prepare reports and proposals for service.
Provide backup support for other IT responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Provide support for events that occur after business hours, offsite and on none regularly schedule workdays as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Three years of experience in programming and/or computer support services of a technical nature
OR
One year of experience as Computer Support Analyst I
OR
equivalent education/experience.
