Job Description:
JRCC is looking for Lead Carpenters, you need to be proficient in all phases of carpentry. You must be able to communicate with customers, keep daily job notes and pictures, maintain your hours and schedule against a budget, and cross-train yourself and others in all aspects of the business.
-Minimum of three years in all phases of residential construction. Leadership experience is a plus.
-Mathematical skills and analytical skills are necessary to do material and labor estimates.
-Mathematical skills and analytical skills are necessary to interpret job cost reports.
-Ability to use a smartphone to apply applications for job information.
-Interpersonal and Communications Skills
-Able to clearly explain steps, provide clear directions, and answer questions about construction processes to employees and subcontractors.
-Adept at establishing relationships with all parties involved in the construction process that facilitate harmonious working relationships during the project, and permit prompt resolution of problems and conflicts as they occur.
-Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for purchase orders, and timesheets.
-Able to be available for on-call, Bonus paid for weeks you are on-call
-Able to keep Company truck and tools clean
Requirements
-A clean background check, drug screen, and driving record is required
-Must be 21 years or older due to insurance requirements
-Must be willing to be on call
