Position Overview:
This position is responsible for setting up and operating a hydraulic press, material sheeter, and other secondary equipment.

Essential Functions:
•Perform preoperational checks of hydraulic press and associated equipment prior to use
•Set up, adjust, and operate hydraulic press
•Set up material sheeter equipment to feed material into press
•Conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job
•Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print and per manufacturing process and material specifications
•Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job
•Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another
•Utilize hydraulic press in most efficient manner that is consistent with operational limitations, in order to prevent damage
•Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
•Maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
•Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
•Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
•Excellent communication both written and verbal
•Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
•Aerospace experience preferred
•Have basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of common shop tools
•Ability to lift, carry, push & pull at least (50-lbs)
Education, Certifications and Experience:
•High school diploma or GED
•3-5 years of experience setting up and operating a hydraulic press, sheeter, and other secondary equipment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.

All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.
