Come work at our award-winning Wastewater Treatment Facility! The current vacancy is for Wastewater Plant Operator II in the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department. Under general supervision, the Wastewater Plant Operator II performs a variety of skilled tasks in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of the City's wastewater treatment plant and related facilities. This position requires a high school diploma or tested equivalent; two years of experience in a wastewater treatment plant, plus the successful completion of one college-level course directly related to wastewater treatment; a current Grade II Wastewater Plant Operator's Certificate from the California State Water Resources Control Board; and a valid Class C driver’s license.
