Job Description:
Position: IT Specialist
Reports to: General Manager
Narrative: This position is responsible for the oversight of all company electronic systems, assisting with software implementation and training when practical to do so.
Position requires close interaction and collaboration with staff members from all departments as well as with company vendors and strategic partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Act as company liaison between third parties and management
· Provide technical support to staff and trouble shoot computer and software issues
· Trouble shoot and help maintain various technical processes, i.e. time clock, entry system, warehouse management systems and other production related electronic systems
· Monitor and insure 24/7 computer security measures are up to date along with any security compliance requirements
· Maintain replacement schedules and status of all computer/electronic equipment
· Identify optimal purchase recommendations for new or replacement computer equipment/electronic needs
· Install and update company software and hardware as needed
· Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum two-year formal education certificate in IT
Minimum two years of experience in professional IT role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite; warehouse management operating software and programming experience highly desired
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail
Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
Efficient troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
Ability to pass a drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.50 - $38.45 per hour
