Bridgeway is a new kind of healthcare organization providing holistic treatment through addiction recovery, problem gambling treatment, mental health therapy, and primary medical care.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for staff in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
Provide assistance with regard to the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
Maintain a record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians, or contractors for service.
Answer staff inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
Act as liaison between staff and external IT contractors or database and software developers.
Coordinate the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology products.

Qualifications and Experience:
Typically requires an Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or a combination of education and experience. Relevant and related training and experience will be a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Promptly answer support-related e-mails, phone calls, and other electronic communications.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
Has experience with hardware and software issues and is proficient in Internet-based applications.
Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Typing proficiency is 40-60WPM.
Intermediate understanding of federal and state confidentiality, record retention, and HIPAA requirements.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at employment start date.
