Job Description:
Segale Properties LLC, dba Frenchman Hills in Othello, WA is looking for a permanent, full time irrigation technician to join our team.
The irrigation technician is a hands-on position that works along side the irrigation manager to successfully apply irrigation water to our crops via center pivot and drip systems. The primary responsibility for this position is safely operating, maintaining, and repairing center pivot machines, pumps, valves, variable frequency drives (VFD’s) and all other equipment associated with irrigation at our farm and vineyard.
Work Schedule
Regular schedule is Monday through Friday. Flexible hours and Saturdays required during irrigation season.

Qualifications:
Experience with center pivot machines and all related field repairs (gear boxes, center drives, drivelines, tires, contactors, and electrical troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of wells, pumps, VFD’s, water pressure and flow.
Comfortable working with computers and basic software programs controlling irrigation equipment remotely.
Self-Motivated, dependable Person who is able to work without direct supervision, putting in the extra effort required to get the job done right.
Minimum two years’ experience with center pivot operation and maintenance.
Understanding of electrical safety.
Meet the physical requirements of the job which includes occasional lifting up to seventy pounds, bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout work period.
Able to work and climb to heights of greater than 10 feet using proper equipment and fall protection.
Valid Washington State Driver's License.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Bi-lingual – English/Spanish preferred.
