Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.

The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Master of Arts in Medical Science enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five-state region.

General Summary:
The Integrated Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and tracking of cyclical and ad-hoc accreditation, planning/evaluation and assessment activities and processes. This role will entail communication/collaboration with various departments and stakeholders throughout the University on institution-wide accreditation, compliance, planning, assessment, and effectiveness initiatives and requirements. The role requires a high degree of organization and an ability to continuously improve processes to gain efficiencies and become more effective. The individual must quickly adapt to new technologies and be able to select and use those technologies most appropriate for specific tasks.
 
Essential Job Functions:
· Accreditation: 
o Coordinate data collection and documentation required for institutional accreditation oversight and maintenance
o Assist with the coordination and tracking of institutional accreditation standard assignments
o Assist with the coordination of institutional and programmatic accreditation reporting, visits, and decisions
o Assist the Asst. Provost for IIE with drafting and preparing accreditation reports.
o Coordinate logistics related to periodic accreditation visits. 
o Assist with annual renewal for participation in State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) 
· Institutional Planning, Evaluation & Assessment Support/Services
o Coordinate and track completion of all planning, evaluation, and assessment activities supported by IE
o Assist with the coordination and support of university-wide academic program and non-academic unit planning and review processes, and training events related to the implementation of the Assessment of Institutional Effectiveness Plan
· Academic Program & Faculty Support
o Coordinate and assist in the management of processes/procedures/tools for establishing, changing, or closing academic programs
o Assist with the coordination and documentation of program-specific faculty evaluation processes and training events for all academic programs
· IE Unit Coordination
o Assist with the development and management of a recordkeeping system to maintain records that support Institutional Effectiveness (IE) such as accreditation, planning/evaluation, assessment, and academic program/faculty support
o Schedule meetings, take minutes/notes, and managing/tracking follow-up of action items) for any IE related meetings as requested
o Assist with the management of PNWU.edu Accreditation web pages and MyPNWU Institutional Effectiveness SharePoint pages
o Develop systems and processes to track projects and timelines of planned and cyclical IE work
o Assist the Assistant Provost for IIE and the Asst. Director of Accreditation, Planning, and Evaluation with managing the IIE operational plan, collecting/tracking planning/assessment progress/outcomes, etc.
· Understands accreditation standards and expectations specific to the department and adheres to policies and procedures to meet or exceed such standards
· Conducts self appropriately and consistently in accordance with the philosophy and mission of PNWU
· Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education:
• Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience:
• Five years of related experience preferred. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience
• Experience using MS Office suite at an intermediate level
• Experience and comfort using multiple types of software
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience applying quality improvement and/or process improvement principles/practices to work projects
