Job Description:
Cascade Eye Center is a multi-doctor optometry clinic looking for a highly motivated individual to fill our optometric technician/medical assistant position. Applicant must have superb customer service skills, highly motivated, and work well in a team environment for a busy office. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train.
Primary Responsibilities:
Chair-side assisting/medical scribing with the doctor during patient exams
Data entry of patient's medical information
Ordering and sales of contact lenses
Assisting with medical diagnosis coding (ICD-10)
Performing imaging of patient's eyes
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
Experience: 6 months of optometry/ophthalmology technician or medical assistant experience preferred, but not required. 6 months customer service experience preferred, but not required.

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees, customers, and patients are required to wear a mask at all-times inside the clinic building. Extensive disinfecting is done throughout the day throughout the shared clinic areas. Employees are screened for symptoms daily prior to work.
