This position requires that you live within 1 hour commute of Cle Elum, WA on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass. A relocation bonus is available to qualified candidates. This role must work Tuesdays - Saturdays. Atlas Networks is a Seattle based telecommunications company founded in 2008. Atlas is committed to providing the Seattle and Suncadia community with the fastest and most reliable Internet service available. We offer speeds up to 10 Gbps while avoiding unnecessary fees and bandwidth caps. Along with Internet, we specialize in Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), VoIP, and managed network services.

Atlas Networks is seeking an experienced Telecom Installation Technician to support the technology services we offer to our growing customer base within the Suncadia community. Candidate must be able to lift and carry upwards of 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in communications handholes while successfully performing job duties. The candidate will be required to work at various job sites, both indoors and outdoors while being exposed to various weather conditions here in the Pacific Northwest and be a capable snow driver. Candidates must have the ability to pull fiber optic cabling outdoors, interior low-voltage cabling, use common hand tools, terminate Ethernet/Coax cabling, terminate fiber optic cabling and operate power tools. This position is full time with the potential for long term career advancement and management. This job requires on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses.

A Day In the Life Of: Start your day at our Network Operations Center (NOC) to check in with your local and Seattle team, review work orders for the day, and discuss proactively any blocking or obstacles you anticipate in your day. Days vary based on the scope and potential infrastructure projects. Some days will find you talking with a homeowner or contractor before pulling a fiber termination whip into the home, fusion splicing and mounting, testing and turning up electronics. Other days are spent working on our primary infrastructure, pulling in up to 288 count backhaul cables or laying out and terminating splice cans. Days end will find you back at the NOC to clean out your truck, report in on the day, and wrap up any remaining paperwork.

The major duties of this job will involve much structure, will require attention to detail, and must be done correctly. At the same time job tasks will vary rather than be repetitive, and will require a faster-than-average pace in order to complete work requirements. The job has more of a people orientation rather than technical orientation. The position may be integral to collaborative or team work in the organization, and in satisfying both internal and external customers. This job has a hands-on focus, where productivity is gained through individual accomplishments.

Core Responsibilities:
Delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction.
Installation of customer infrastructure, routers, and wireless equipment.
Low voltage and fiber optic cabling rough-in and termination.
Low voltage and fiber optic cabling testing and documentation.
Pulling fiber optic cabling through below ground conduits and handholes.
Build-out of fiber splice cans, fiber patch panels, MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.).
Keeping your truck and our facilities clean and organized.
Interacting with a kick-ass group of teammates and having fun doing your job. (well, except maybe when it's 20 degrees outside and snowing sideways).
06 License preferred but not required.
Additional duties that may be assigned by management as part of the day to day operations of the company.

$28/hr - $48/hr
