Job Summary
Defiance Machine is currently seeking full time CNC operator to join our team. Our production facility is located 30 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and its lakes and mountains for hiking and sightseeing. Responsibilities and Duties
• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired results by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machine produces outputs according to specifications.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce better results
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Knowledge of Edit NC and Fanuc controls
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, Outlook)
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 35lbs safely
Experience
• None – CNC Operator 2 years desired

• United States (Required)

Positions are available for NIGHTS and WEEKENDS. Night shift begins late afternoon and runs 8-10 hours, with shift differential. Weekends consists of 3, 12-hour days Friday – Sunday.
