ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position provides PC, printer, multi-function equipment, voice telephony, and help desk support. Performs system hardware and communication connection repairs and basic diagnostic testing. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware and software installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting. The work for which an IT Support Specialist II is responsible for will normally be under the direction of the IT Coordinator.

EXPERIENCE, WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:

An associate degree in Computer Information Systems with a minimum of Three to Four (3-4) years of PC Desktop, software, and voice telephony support experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Desirable Qualifications:
A+, Network+, MCP or equivalent certification is preferred.

The work environment conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:

Work is performed in the office Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Remote work is not available for this position.
Requires after hours on-call rotations with other IT personnel.
