Job Description:
Sodexo at Alaska Airlines in SeaTac, WA has an exciting opportunities for Commercial Building Maintenance Technicians. We are looking to fill Jr and Sr technician positions.These positions will maintain Airport facilities including Air Cargo, Hangar and Terminal buildings. Duties will include, but no limited to, HVAC: EPA Certificate Universal Type II, Type III and/or Universal, electrical or plumbing certificates preferred. Other duties include plumbing and electric work as well as painting/patching walls, repairing floors, ceiling tiles work, etc... You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance checks, replacing filters, belts, lighting, plumbing parts and other duties as assigned.
We are looking for a candidates with 5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience, along with the ability to resolve work orders, interact with the public, drive company vehicles, problem solve, possess a professional demeanor and a willingness to learn. Completion of a technical trade program is preferred in HAVC, Electrical or Plumbing. Additionally, CMMS – Computer based Maintenance tracking system including entering work orders and tracking time experience is required. Since these positions will work at airport facilities you must ! As with most maintenance careers, some weekends, holidays and on call hours (emergency response) is necessary.
