We are seeking a dependable Machinist Advanced on day shift to load, set up, run and unload machines. Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay with the starting rate for this position currently at $23.56 per hour and the ability to move to $26.05 within 18 months. arker Hannifin also offers comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k/retirement planning benefits, merit increases, and quarterly profit sharing bonus'. Additionally, we are offering a SIGN ON BONUS up to $1,250 after six (6) months of full-time employment.

Essential Functions: Set up different types of production equipment.
Makes setups on repeat jobs with existing programs.
Loads, unloads, deburrs and does all inspection of any run in the cell.
Moves offsets and performs simple editing on the control.
Does simple editing at the discretion of the supervisor.
Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training programs.
Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Basic computer skills required
Basic math skills required
Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
Basic blueprint understanding required
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks that may be repetitive
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player Physical Demands/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee will regularly bend, stoop, and stretch handling parts/objects in various situations. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
