Are you a journey-level Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) technician or plumber with experience in the operation and troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing and other building mechanical systems? Multnomah County's Facilities and Property Management Division is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will use your knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment or plumbing systems to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical problems.

Multnomah County's Facilities and Property Management Division Program comprises a broad spectrum of services ensuring Multnomah County 160 buildings are operating and functioning as designed and constructed, as well as, meeting the requirements of County programs and operations. O&M is responsible for operations, services and projects that are regulated by multiple federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations.

In this role you will:

Operate, maintain, repair, replace and adjust (HVAC) equipment.

Utilize Building Automation System (BAS) systems and related computer programs to remotely troubleshoot HVAC systems.

Repair/replace plumbing equipment,fixtures, systems and perform simple repairs.

Repair/replace fire suppression systems and back-flows.

Provide quality customer service to ensure minimal disruption of a client’s work environment.
