Job Description:
KASO Plastics is a custom injection molder located in Vancouver, WA with over a 55 year history as a stable employer in our community. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and all relating support
equipment.
2. Ability to troubleshoot auxiliary equipment as follows.
a. Die heaters- Replace pump seals, diagnose heaters
b. Robots - mechanical, electrical and reboot programs.
c. Auto loaders- repair/replace components
d. Heater boosters- repair heater/motors
e. Material Dryers
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lockout/tag out procedures
2. Ability to use/understand test equipment (multi meters, amp meter etc.)
3. Driving forklift

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates should have excellent mechanical skills and aptitude, good communication skills, the ability to multitask, and work well with others in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLCs, robotics, and general facility maintenance. A strong background in electrical desired. Must be able to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requires a High school diploma or GED with a 2-year degree in an Industrial Maintenance curriculum or 5+ years’ experience in an Industrial Maintenance position preferred. Strong work ethic, open to overtime.
Mechanic with strong electrical skills or Electrician with mechanical skills desired.
