Job Description:
Thermal Supply is a Daikin Comfort Technology company in the Pacific Northwest. They have 23 locations in the PNW. Thermal is a wholesaler of heating, air conditioning equipment parts, refrigeration and supplies. We are hiring a Regional Technical Manager in the Seattle area. You will provide training, technical and install support, and assistance to TSMs, ASR’s and contractors. Handle the daily needs of the DOD contractors. This position requires handling of all listed in a calm, non-volatile manner and without judgement.

This position is located in: Seattle, WA

Responsibilities:

Provide Technical and Install Training support to Contractors, TSMs, ASRs as required
Customer & Thermal Supply technical support on ductless, unitary, VRV, and package equipment
Become a certified trainer and commissioner on Daikin/Goodman products
Conduct regional training for service and installers-Quarterly (unitary, ductless, package equipment, VRV, air flow, etc.
Receiving calls and doing job site visits to resolve install and technical issues
Produce high quality training materials for trainings
Manage training material and keep training facilities updated and working correctly (equipment)
Be responsible for a high quality, cost-efficient and on time service operation (internal and external)
Ensure the availability and quality of communications with our customers
Support sales team in recruitment by conducting customer trainings at place of business
Support new product roll outs with training
Manage training literature and support materials for trainings
Keep Thermal Supply team members updated on technical bulletins and PMN’s
Work with purchasing to make sure Thermal Supply has no heat parts for new products when they roll out
Continue ongoing training on new and existing products as the roll out
Conduct NATE testing and other certified training
Stay current on all Daikin/Goodman products and service and installation
Maintain a call schedule
Qualifications:

Four year degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
Numerous and ongoing technical courses and schooling.
Instructor/trainer HVAC with knowledge of Unitary, Ductless, and VRV/VRF.
5 plus years industry experience.
Proficient in all industry standards.
CFC/Universal, industry credentials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in planning, organizing and prioritizing.
Strong interpersonal and management skills.
Highly self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Customer support aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
