Job Description:
Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET) - a PNE LLC Company, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for providing maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate to be used safely. The Journeyman also conducts all repairs and installations according to code.

Under the direction of the Head Draftsman/Designer, the Electrical Controls Designer will provide technical support for small to mid scale projects; Typically, development and/or implementation of new manufacturing technology in support of new product lines, or improvements in existing product lines.



Essential Functions:

Developing electrical control panel drawings and generating bills of material
Supporting the build and installation of custom control systems/panels
Modifying electrical designs and layouts
Researching new technology and providing recommendations


An ideal candidate will possess the following:

Prior experience with PLC control system design; familiarity with Rockwell and Allen Bradley systems
Recent ePLAN or AutoCAD experience
Proficiency in the application of AC/DC motor controls including VFD and Servo Drives
Strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
The ability to read, analyze and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Solid interpersonal skills, able to build and support team and work with multiple levels of company personnel
Experience with North American codes including NEC and UL
