Job Title: Entry Level Technician
Job Description: Perform high speed internet service, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Support day to day operations for ToledoTel Telephone services. The ideal candidate has an excellent work ethic and is a team player.
You will be connecting mostly fiber optic cables to various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, and buildings and inside the customer’s home or business. This may include cabling various electronic components (e.g., routers, computers, TVs,). You will be making decisions as to the type of repair required at the customer’s home or business. Work closely with customer service representatives for work assignments such as trouble reports and service orders. Record transmission readings, daily time. Operates vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders up to 28’, meters, and test equipment, lift up to 50 pounds. Completes required paperwork including installation checklist, time-sheets, service orders, vehicle inspection report. Maintains a clean and organized company vehicle/equipment. Carry out all work in the safest possible manner. Provides the customer with the best customer service, and promotes an excellence in the customer relations experience. Assists other Technicians in the performance of their duties when requested. Performs all other duties as assigned.
