FULL-TIME (ENTRY LEVEL) CONTROL ELECTRICIAN

REQUIREMENTS
• Current driver’s license
• Hand tool experience
• Physical requirements may include but are not limited to: crawling, squatting, standing for extended periods of time, lifting, maneuvering safely in tight spaces, and willingness to work outside all year round.
• Current passport for potential travel to Canada - (preferred)
* Willingness to travel within the U.S. as well as Canada.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES - (but not limited to)
Introductory skills
• Safely working with Volts DC as well as 480/240/120 VAC
• Soldering cables
• Building junction boxes & electrical pushbutton panels
• Electrical plumbing & conduit bending
• Engraving
• Reading schematics
• Forklift operation and certification (training & certification will be provided on-site if necessary)
• Motor wiring
• Maintaining a clean workspace & shop
Intermediate/Advanced skills
• Relay logic
• Motor control center wiring & understanding
• Variable frequency drive (VFD) operation
• Electrical pushbutton panel check-outs and troubleshooting
• Cable sizing
• Understanding and referencing the National Electrical Code (NEC) book
* The Control Electrician may be called upon to assist with duties outside of his/her daily tasks & job description.
* Sometimes overtime will be required to make deadlines.
