Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience operating/training on related CNC equipment—including setup, operation and tooling
Must be able to verify program scanned matches print accurately
Perform simple edits to machine programming such as adding offsets, changing of tool heights, etc.
Troubleshoot difficult setups and seek improvements with Supervisors, Development and/or Leads
to identify solution
Inspect CNC Tooling and fixtures to maintain maximum effectiveness and report issues to Supervisors, Development and/or Leads as needed
Provide input to Supervisors, Leads, Development or others on different methods of producing existing parts within tolerances
Ability to follow Customer Specifications and produce parts that meet the specifications
Consistently produce quality parts within required tolerances and goal times
Become proficient in measuring parts using calipers, protractors, tape measure and other gauges to determine key product dimensions
Become proficient in understanding G and M code
Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent desired
2+ years CNC experience
Precision Machining and Manufacturing Certificate
Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
Even tempered, friendly disposition and a positive can-do attitude
Proven mechanical aptitude
Possess strong math and computer skills
Physical Demands/Work Environment

Able to lift 60 lbs repetitively
Able to work up to 12-hour shifts
Must be available to work any shift
Able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time
Ergonomics and position must be a priority as CNC equipment is in constant motion utilizing cutting tools
Be able to work in a production environment
Able to walk, stand and otherwise perform job functions on concrete floors with safety boots/shoes
