Job Description:
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will help implement, maintain, and support all technology needs for DCYF, as well as external customers, contracted staff, tribes, providers, and community partners. You will provide desktop and network support for all DCYF sites, ensure computer network functionality, meet network data standards, and ensure overall security and service desk support. Some of what you will get to do:
- Provide desktop support including off-site troubleshooting support for hardware and software setup, conflicts, and difficulties.
- Implement, configure, and install systems and provide user support for WebEx Boards, Video conferencing software Windows 10, Microsoft Office and printers.
- Follow purchasing, inventory control, disposal and evidentiary chain of custody policies and requirements.
- Work with the State Auditors and federal auditors to provide required information for audits and reviews.
- Install and configure conferencing equipment, video cameras, and video conferencing software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and sound issues.
- Plan, schedule, and perform hardware and software installs, repairs, and upgrades.
- Monitor performance and maintain availability of DCYF networks.
- Collaborate with IT security and ensure all security requirements are followed.
- Ensure proper reporting and resolution of all lost equipment and potential security issues.

Ways you can qualify (pick one):
- Four years of information technology experience such as consulting, analyzing, designing, programming, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment, directing projects, providing customer or technical support in information technology; or administering or supervising staff who performed work in any of these information technology disciplines.

- Bachelor's degree including 9 semester or 15 quarter hours of computer science courses and four years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in information technology analysis, system maintenance, or troubleshooting/problem resolution experience, or analyzing, designing, or programming computer systems applications or databases.

- Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited vocational training program in an information technology or related program and six years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in information technology analysis, system maintenance, or troubleshooting/problem resolution experience, or analyzing, designing, or programming computer systems applications or databases.


In addition to those required qualifications, our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following:
Experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office productivity software and troubleshooting desktop issues.
Knowledge of DCYF public disclosure, adoption and discovery policy and processes.
Knowledge of ACT case management system.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience and demonstrated success administering, supporting and working with operating systems, software, and networks
