We have Welder and Weld Specialist positions available.

Responsibilities
A successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations. Loads, unloads parts and weldments in a variety of welding fixtures, depending on the production team needs. Reviews blueprints and other schematic drawings to ensure proper weld sizes and lengths are used on weldments. Prepares welding equipment for proper usage and prepares the layout of equipment to perform as needed. Assures that welds conform to Genie quality standards and product specifications. Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

Qualifications
Candidate must demonstrate/provide the following skill sets:
- Requires a basic technical knowledge of Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) welding.
- Preferred: 1 year Gas Metal Arc (MIG) welding experience
- Experience in producing quality parts using welding fixtures in a fast paced environment.
- Related technical ability and good understanding of production processes and equipment
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Pass Genie/AWP Weld Test
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
- Experience in heavy and light steel fabrication and welding
- Use of precision measuring tools and instruments, i.e. scales and calipers

Working Condition:
Work is performed a manufacturing environment where significant safety considerations exist from use of dangerous equipment, proximity to moving objects, full-body physical labor and handling of medium-to-heavy weight materials. Required equipment for all operations includes but not limited to: steel toe shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
