Customer Service Representative- Yakima, WA

Job Description:
We are looking for a customer-focused service representative in the fast paced building supply industry. This position will provide product/services information, write orders, schedule deliveries, answer phones, assist customers with product selection, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. Must be able to work in a fast paced, organized and confident manner to keep up with contractor and residential sales needs. Our goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Write orders
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets
- Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits for unsatisfied customers
- Organization and ability to prioritize duties needed
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
- Record customer information within our customer service database
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
- Other duties as requested
