DSHS FFA Truck Driver 1

The Facilities, Finance, and Analytics Administration, Maintenance and Operations Division is looking to hire a Non-Perm Truck Driver to operate light-duty and small vehicles throughout Buckley, Washington.


Some of what you'll do:

Drive and operate small light-duty vans and special vehicles to transport patients, employees, and deliver materials
Load and unload materials, supplies, and food to multiple locations on the hospital grounds
Clean exterior and interior of all vehicles
Assist in the collection and transporting of recycling materials
Report for duty on short notice or outside of normally scheduled work hours


What we are looking for:

Possession of a valid driver's license and a record free of serious traffic violations.

Ability to read, write, and perform heavy outdoor work.


Desired:

One year of experience operating small light-duty trucks and vans
Experience transporting and assisting passengers in vehicles
Knowledge of state motor vehicle laws with the safe operation of equipment
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to work with challenging individuals
Knowledge of PPE
