JOB SUMMARY:
Sabey Data Centers is looking for a HVAC Technician to clean and maintain equipment, including air handlers, humidifiers and de-humidifiers. The work will be completed outdoors in all weather conditions. We are looking for a self-starter and motivated team player. HVAC technicians will be asked to perform other duties as assigned. This position will be located in Quincy Washington. We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems at our Sabey Data Center. The HVAC Tech will maintain safety standards and a clean and organized job site. Ideal candidates will be patient, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
Assisting with customers' queries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions
Ability to work independently
Requires basic knowledge of hand tools.
High School Diploma
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
HVAC technical certificate, or relevant education/experience maintaining industrial HVAC equipment
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders
Ability to lift and/or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
