We provide electrical service solutions to Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial and Construction clients in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California. This position requires exceptional proven track record of managing complex administrative and operations duties that occur simultaneously. At a minimum, the ideal candidate will be equipped with a strong technical background that will add value to ongoing team-oriented efforts such as defining strategy, developing effective operations and administration infrastructure, and using strong excel skills to provide accurate data reporting.

Strong hands-on advanced Excel skills is a must for this position, including proven experience required to successfully analyze data and create reports by utilizing skills such as (but not limited to) advanced functions, tables, charts and formulas. An Excel test will be administered as part of the interview process.

The Spectrum S.M.E will be a dedicated, detail oriented and organized. The Spectrum S.M.E will be responsible for managing Spectrum-a construction accounting/project management software, office support, accounting administration and reporting to keep projects running smoothly. This is a position for someone who likes to multitask, put in place controls, streamline processes and continuously improve efficiency. This candidate must be reliable, trustworthy and a motivated team player.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
• Sorting incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
• Production of profit and loss
• Complete and maintain sales invoices and reports
• Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
• Weekly wages, petty cash and journal postings
• Daily bank receipts postings
• Maintaining chart of accounts
• General ledger entries
• Support in Spectrum job information
• Manage spectrum users with access
• Prepare financial statements
• Uploading documents into Spectrum
• Order office equipment
• Organize and schedule Spectrum training for other employees
• Order Checks
• Maintain credit cards, fuel cards and debit cards
• Set up new employees and suppliers in the accounting system
• Reports on debtors and creditors
• General Office administration
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Oversee Payroll
• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Receive payments into Spectrum
• Preparation and distribution of billing
• Tax preparation on state and federal levels for employees as well as local state and government.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proactive individual focused on system and reporting improvements
• Some experience in preparation of balance sheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to professionally and effectively interact with staff, colleagues and the executive management team
• Ability to represent the company in a professional and positive manner
• Must successfully complete drug testing, background screening and credit check
• Spectrum experience preferred but not necessary. Experience in accounting suites such as QuickBooks, Sage, Intacct, Odoo, Xero, Workday, Arrow, etc. is necessary.
• Must be able to pass preemployment screening
