CONSTRUCTION APPLICATION ANALYST
Our IT team supports the Absher employees with highly available and secure systems partnered with great business analysis to improve integration and ease of use of our systems. We are a small, high touch technology team. While most of the time, we prefer working together in our Puyallup home office, we do support part-time remote work arrangements. The Construction Application Analyst’s role is to:
Promote and support our teams in their use of critical construction applications across our organization (Procore, Bluebeam, and Vista).
Provide 2nd tier Application support – monitoring, testing, trouble shooting, documentation and maintenance.
Listen well, collaborate, plan, promote solutions and solve problems.
Improve business workflows through technology and end user training.
Be passionate about construction and monitor the market for innovation opportunities.
OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Operations and IT team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in workflows across the organization.
Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed hardware and application systems
Coordinate and perform in-depth end user testing for modified and new systems.
Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, cloud providers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
Provide orientation, support and training to end-users for all modified and new systems.
