Full Time Electrician- Twin City Foods Inc.

We currently have a Full Time Electrician position available in our facility in Ellensburg, WA.
As a Twin City Foods (Ellensburg Division) electrician your main purpose would be to install and maintain all electrical applications plant wide.
Electrician should have experience in:
· Industrial/Electrical trade
· Motor controls
· Motor and drive installations
· Process Instrumentation
· Conduit bending and troubleshooting 24-480 bolt systems
· Must have knowledge of NEC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of electrical theory, practices, procedures, equipment, tools and materials.
Installation, maintenance and repair of packaging, processing and facility electrical systems.
Understand the National Electrical Code, state and local electric codes and ordinances.
Install, repair and perform maintenance of conduits, high and low voltage systems, lighting circuits, panel, regulators, emergency power generators, transformers, relay, circuit breakers, switch boxes, and related electrical fixtures and equipment within the facility per code.
Observes and interprets meters and gauges and performs electrical system repair of boilers, refrigeration and auxiliary equipment.
Monitors/inspects the facility for electrical/mechanical problems and/or equipment malfunctions.
Maintains departmental maintenance records and logs.
Notifies supervisory personnel of conditions affecting operation of equipment or safety of staff.
Helps maintain general cleanliness of maintenance/electrical areas.
Works shifts and overtime as required.
Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions/courses to become and remain current with required electrical licensing/code changes, principles, practices and current trends in the industry.
Food Safety/Security Duties/Responsibilities:
Use proper food safety PPE and maintain general housekeeping.
Fill out glass breakage reports on any broken light bulbs.
Upon task completion, account for all tools, spare parts, materials and shop supplies. Ensure that equipment and work area is clean and free of debris. Return items to storage and dispose of consumables.
Prevent any product contamination by refraining from use of tape, wire, string or any other temporary repair. If temporary repair must be used, correct the temporary repair as soon as possible.
Preferred Education/Training/Certification Qualifications:
Degree from accredited 4 year college or electrical training institution in electronics, electrical theory or closely related field and/or 5 years of recent, full time experience in plant operations and maintenance in a similar production environment, preferably food processing, with responsibility as a journeyman level electrician or equivalent.
*Possession of a valid Washington State Journeyman’s Electrician license.*
