DSHS FFA Truck Driver 2

Facilities, Finance and Analytics Administration (FFA) has an opportunity within the Maintenance and Operations Division (MOD) to enhance your career as a Truck Driver 2 located in Medical Lake, WA. Applicants must have a Class A or B CDL with no air brake restriction and a passenger endorsement.

Some of what you will do:

Drive one and operate medium to large trucks, special vehicles, large vehicles and large delivery vans
Pick up and deliver various supplies, equipment, and furniture by operating a forklift or hand dolly
Pick up refuse containers by operating a garbage truck
Assists in the collection and transporting of recycle materials
Clean exterior and interior of vehicles to include vacuuming
Transport clients and patients
Deliver food and laundry

What we are looking for:

Work indoors and outdoors with all tools and equipment relevant to the transportation trade
Drive and operate a variety of vehicles and equipment such as truck, van, forklift, etc
Perform the physical requirements of this position
Work around potentially hazardous chemicals such as gasoline, diesel and contaminated laundry
Should possess a CDL class A or B license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction
May be required to work "on call" for holidays

Who should apply?

Drivers with at least one year as a Truck Driver 1 and a valid driver's license
A valid driver's license free from serious traffic violations
One year experience operating of equipment, state motor vehicle laws, rules governing operation of state equipment, methods, tools and materials used in servicing and maintaining equipment
