IT Customer Support - Entry
This is an awesome opportunity to work with the Information Technology Department which is responsible for the customer and desktop support, and maintenance of computer hardware, applications, and technology equipment at McNeil Island.
This job reports directly to the SCC IT Operations Manager and works within the Special Commitment Center (SCC) IT Department as the single point of contact for SCC employees stationed throughout Washington State working at SCC institutions and offices.
You'll support end-user devices, hospital systems, commercial, and proprietary applications, desktop hardware/software, remote access/authentication using Citrix and VPN, video conferencing, staff mobility, Outlook/Exchange, Mobile Device Management, Managed Print Services, Secure File Transfer, and Teams support.

Some of what you'll do
Provide Workstation Imaging and Deployment of desktop and laptops
Provide technical support via phone, email, desk-side or remote desktop connection
Analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy computer workstation, printer, network connectivity, and software issues
Document communications in an incident ticket
Communicate information to IT technicians and escalate tickets for issues requiring advanced troubleshooting
Deploy, test, and maintain end-user devices and software solutions
Install, support, and upgrade PCs, laptops, hardware and software, network printers, and other network devices
Track, monitor, and update IT inventory for SCC. Participate in ordering IT related equipment and peripherals
Who should apply
Those with an Associates degree in computer science or a related field
Three years of IT experience in desktop or help desk support utilizing MW Windows 10 or later
HDI Desktop Support Technician Certification
CompTIA A+ Certification
MS Desktop Support Technician Certification
Ability to prepare clear technical documentation
