Forklift Field Service Mechanic – Auburn & Surrounding Areas
POSITION SUMMARY
Field Service Technician provides professional, timely, and accurate repair of customer material handling equipment. You will be responsible for three primary duties: repair equipment, complete and all documentation, and create excellent relationships with customers.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EXPECTATIONS
Required:
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide own tools
• Solid computer skill with attention on data entry
• Multitasking and time management skills
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs or more and/or crouch and crawl in confined area
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair industrial forklifts and other material handling equipment such as engines, motors, hydraulics, and electronic controls.
• Dismantle machinery/equipment to diagnose the issue and accurately determine repair needed
• Lookup required parts (OEM)
• Reassemble machinery/equipment after completed repair and test
• Document results electronically in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and presentable service truck
