Job Description Summary
Internal Audit at Lamb Weston provides a balanced perspective in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the company’s strategic, operational, and compliance objectives. This key Internal Audit position will be responsible for performing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the company. This flexible position is ideal for self-motivated auditors who enjoy working with people at various levels and in all areas of the company.

This role may be filled remotely by an individual residing in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, & Idaho).

Job Description
- Perform all phases of internal audits in accordance with department and professional standards
- Develop effective relationships with team members and business partners
- Advise stakeholders on control standards and best practices
- Analyze data to identify process insights, risks, and support for audit conclusions
- Prepare and clearly communicate audit results to management
- Identify process and organizational risks and recommend appropriate controls
- Assist in planning and scoping of internal audit projects through management interviews, technical research, and data analytics
- Design audit procedures to satisfy identified audit objectives
- Test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
- Identify business risks and root causes, and make recommendations to management
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables
- Follow-up on audit findings to ensure management action plans have been implemented
- Work directly with external auditors

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or similar field
- Accounting degree preferred
- Advanced degree a plus
- 1+ years professional audit (internal or external) experience
- CPA and/or CIA certifications, or progress towards them, preferred
- Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think critically, ask searching questions and analyze complex areas
- The ability to contribute to a fast-paced and highly motivated team
- Motivated and capable of learning new skills, including data analytic skills
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals and assigned tasks and projects in a flexible working environment
- High standards of quality and strong focus on stakeholder needs
- Working knowledge of basic auditing and accounting, US GAAP, SOX, COSO 2013 Framework, PCAOB and IIA Standards
- Personal computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office products
- Ability to travel up to 20%
