Job Description:
The Finance Transformation Technical team is looking for a Systems Analyst to support the technical deliverables across the UWFT workstreams. The Systems Analyst will play a key role in ensuring consistent standards and approaches are applied as they produce content related to technical requirements, specifications as well as data and system architecture diagrams. This position will be a liaison between the business and technical transformation workstreams assisting in the translation between business rules or requirements with technical solutions. The Systems Analysts will also produce materials and consult with units across the academic and clinical enterprise as they perform technical development activities.

This position provides the opportunity to work as a team member on an enterprise level program, in a challenging, diverse and rewarding environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide analytical guidance and support at a programmatic level including mapping and documentation of business processes
- Identify potential risks and obstacles which may hinder successful completion of deliverables and achievement of project goals
- Evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities and implement required updates/enhancements
- Manage high-volume workloads by multi-tasking, coordinating with peers and communicating with customers as required
- Balance complex and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

The analyst will need to exhibit excellent qualities in attention to detail, analytical acumen, facilitating and communication, collaboration with stakeholders and partners, and competing priority management. The analyst needs to have top communication skills at interpersonal level, and in presentation to large groups.

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science or related area or experience
- Five years of experience working with complex projects or operations involving multiple teams and deliverables, complex client or community interactions, and prioritization of multiple competing demands
- Knowledge and experience developing/implementing a variety of software systems involving Web-based user interfaces and relational databases in support of administrative or operational needs
- Demonstrated excellence in client interaction, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on large scale administrative systems, analytics/BI solutions or ERP
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cooperative effort
- Strong customer focus and excellence in relationship management with key partners
- Strong negotiation and the ability to develop consensus
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for all minimum requirements

- Demonstrated knowledge and skills developing enterprise data integration solutions across major business functional areas
- Experience in a large university, large medical center, or other large complex enterprise
- Knowledge and experience developing/implementing enterprise level software systems in support of administrative or operational needs
- Experience dealing with organizational change management
- Demonstrated success in facilitating work groups and ability to develop consensus
- Previous experience with higher education financial and/or budget processes

This position involves responsibilities and occasional situations where work outside of standard business hours is required to respond to incidents or to meet critical deadlines. Work in an open office environment.

This position on the Finance Transformation Project is temporarily funded; continued employment is contingent on ongoing funding and performance.
